No Mames! – A Curatorial Collaboration with the Restaurant Carnal (100 Maneiras Group)

"No Mames!" (a Mexican expression that means "no way"!) is the name of our Carnal wines collection. A family of 14 wines, made by different producers and with labels designed by different artists. Each bottle features a member of this very special family, inviting you to get comfortable and join the party.

This collaboration celebrates the intersection of fine wine, Mexican soul, and urban contemporary art, taking the gallery experience directly to the dining table.

To bring this ‘special family’ to life, Because Art Matters took on the challenge of providing curatorial and artistic direction for an invited lineup of artists, pairing the irreverent spirit of Carnal (100 Maneiras Group) with unique artistic visual identities for each of the labels.

By managing the creative bridge between the artists and the collection, the mission of Because Art Matters was to ensure that each artist’s style captured a distinct “family member” of the collection. The result is that each bottle became a collectible piece of art, bringing the gallery experience directly to the guest’s table.

Featured artists  lineup: Jacqueline de Montaigne, Patrícia Mariano, Binau, and Fiumani, alongside Carnal’s house artist, Carlito Dalceggio.
