During this BOOM edition, at the Envisionary Art Lounge and under the curation of Because Art Matters, BAM Crew plus invited artists, will paint live in teams of two, transferring oto large format canvas the multi-dimensional fractality that is the Boom vibe, intersected with the theme of the Anthropocene.

Since 2002 the visionary art gallery has been presenting psychedelic art at Boom. For the 25th edition we are deep diving into merging psychedelic art with live painting and the novel realm of crypto-art.
This year, Boom Festival’s fine arts program is embracing new approaches on psychedelia and decentralisation, by welcoming a collection of 25 NFT artworks to be displayed on screens at the festival’s art gallery, which has been baptised as the Envisionary Art Lounge.
The Experience?
The Envisionary Art Lounge at Boom features a collection of digital NFT artworks curated by Art Progression Now; an expanded b2b live painting program hosted by Because Art Matters; visionary artworks from the Boom collection; and an exhibition by the digital artist and veteran Boomer, Android Jones.
Curation of the artworks is be based on this year’s festival theme, The Anthropocene, and is infused with the festival’s historic relationship to visionary psychedelic art. A complementary program of talks and workshops takes place at the festival’s Liminal Village, to provide Boomers with insights and education around topics of decentralisation and crypto art.
The NFT collection will be accessible via an online marketplace hosted by Rare Effect for Boomers around the world to admire and eventually collect. The collection will also be exhibited in a virtual gallery environment, in collaboration with Muzee Dezentral for the duration of the festival, and until 15 August 2022.
Several NFT ‘drop’ mechanics are anticipated to take place at the festival, including single or ‘one of one’ edition pieces, limited edition NFTs and open edition collectibles. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to social and environmental impact causes.
The gallery will partner with at least one environmentally friendly PoS (Proof of Stake) blockchain for minting the artworks as NFTs, so as to generate positive environmental impact through the project.
The Envisionary Art Lounge is a collaborative effort between Boom Festival, Android Jones, Because Art Matters, Art Progression Now, Loominate, Arroz Estudios, and Keyko.
